Teaching Plan for Period 1 

Teaching material:  Reading A   Nobody wins(Part II)

Teaching aim: Reading comprehension

Difficult point: The understanding of the story.

Important point: Reading comprehension

Teaching media: tape recorder, multi-media

Teaching procedure:

Step 1: Go over the first part of the story by asking questions about the characters and telling the main points.

Step 2: Teach the new words in Reading A by showing some pictures.

Step 3: Listen and scan Reading A and find out some important words.

Step 4: Read the story and do some multiple choices according to the story.

Step 5: Listen ,read again and find out the steps of the escaping plan.

Step 6: Read again and finish A3.

Step 7:Check the answers by showing one student’s answer on the notevision.
